Products mentioned on the website are not necessarily endorsed by FTI. FTI does not make any warranties about the products sold on www.firsttrustindustries.com. except the warranties provided by the product manufacturing warranty. Our maximum liability is the amount you paid for the product not including shipping or maintenance fees. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to reject orders from dealers and resellers or any other customer we see fit.
Errors and Omissions
First Trust Industries, Inc. intends to provide accurate information to its customers. However, we are not responsible for any typographical errors or technical data inaccuracies of the products in our store. We do not promise that this site, or any content, links, services, functions or feature of this site, or any third party links, adds or content will be without defect.
All orders (except survival food and water products and or the kits that contain food and water) are shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
Orders that contain survival food and water products and or the kits that contain food and water take 7-10 working days to ship. The reason for this is that the food in your kit will be made fresh to provide the longest lasting shelf life as possible. This takes extra time. In some cases, FTI may have product in stock and this product will be used to fill orders when possible. This does include the survival food products. The "in stock" survival food is rotated bi-monthly fresh. All customers are welcome to come to the office and buy from what we have on hand. Survival food bars in the emergency kits are made fresh and may take 7-10 days to ship.
FTI uses the following shipping suppliers. United States Postal Service (USPS) ground, United Parcel Service (UPS) ground.
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. FTI is not in control of the prices set for shipping. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to cancel your order if you decide not to pay the shipping fee.
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock unless you request a different arrangement by phone call or eMail. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
We hope you will be satisfied with any product purchased on our website or from our catalogue. If you wish to return or exchange a product for any reason you may do so within 15 days of the date of delivery. We will refund the price of the product, excluding original shipping charges, providing the product is in a good condition and is in its original, undamaged packaging. Please do not write on or damage the products wrappings or boxes inside and out. If there is any damage to the packaging that prevents FTI from returning it to the manufacturing company, the return will not be credited to you. Returns must be received within 15 days of receipt of merchandise in the same packaging and condition as originally shipped. If you receive the package damaged do not accept it or you can no longer return it. No returns and/or exchanges will be accepted if merchandise has been used or if original boxes are marked, written on, damaged or have any unnatural wear and tear on them. Returns not meeting these conditions will not be returned and customer's may be required to pay the expenses.

In your communication please provide as much information as possible.
All returns are at the discretion of First Trust Industries Inc. (FTI) and must have an assigned Return Authorization (RA) Number. This RA number must be requested within 5 days of receipt of merchandise. Requests made after 5 days will not be authorized. Please call and describe your reason for returning the product. All returns are subject to a 20% handling charge except in the case of malfunction, product damaged in shipment, or product received not as ordered. Shipping charges are not refundable unless product was received defective, damaged in shipment, or not shipped as ordered. The returned product must be in the original packaging and have the RA number on the shipping label.
Upon approval, FTI will email a complimentary return label to be used for shipping the product back.
Please allow up to 15 days to process refunds.
Please Note: Before replacements and/or refunds are processed on equipment, the returned merchandise is evaluated by the FTI service department for missing or damaged packing material. This evaluation is to correct any packaging before it is sent to the manufacturer whether the problem is due to a manufacturing defect or operator abuse. If deemed a manufacturing defect, the return and/or exchange will be processed. If deemed operator abuse, the customer will be contacted with a service and/or repair quote.
