With the purchase of this product your, local CERT program will receive Ready Points that is used to help get them the equipment they need to assist the First Responders in your city and county. 

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programeducates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster responce skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professionalresponders are not available to help.

Fund Raising: With the purchase of this product, your local CERT volunteer will receive Ready Points that are used to purchase products needed to help save lives in the event of a disaster. The CERT member will earn $1.00 for every Ready Point. The Ready Point can be redeemed at First Trust Industries to buy supplies that will help the member to assist the local first responders and aid them in securing, rescuing and organizing a community in a disaster.
